EXchange Hotel Vancouver

We had an outstanding stay at The EXchange Hotel Vancouver. From start to finish, the experience was upscale, welcoming, and extremely convenient—truly a luxury hotel feel at a more approachable price point. The staff went above and beyond—always friendly and attentive. From holding the doors open to personally handing you your keys from around the check-in desk, everything felt thoughtful and refined, almost like the “Nordstrom” level of service. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and well appointed (though I’ll admit, I’d trade the espresso machine for a traditional coffee maker). One of the best decisions we made was adding the breakfast option. For about $30 per room, we received daily vouchers for everyone in our party staying in the room. Instead of a typical continental breakfast, the vouchers were valid for any entrée at the on-site restaurant. The food was high quality, beautifully presented, and made for a perfect start to each day. Even with our large group of 20, the staff accommodated us seamlessly. The location is also unbeatable. It’s just a 3-minute walk to Waterfront Station, which made getting to and from the airport via the Canada Line incredibly easy. Being two blocks from Canada Place made cruise embarkation a breeze. And when we wanted to visit Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge, we were pleasantly surprised to find the free shuttles just a few blocks away—super convenient for a day out without needing to arrange transportation. Highly recommend this hotel—top-notch service, comfort, and location all in one.

We had an unforgettable 6-day stay at the Exchange Hotel and everything was just perfect! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, steps away from Waterfront Station, Gastown, and amazing restaurants and shops. Our room was spotless, stylish, and super cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local tips. What really stood out was the vibe — modern, energetic, and classy without being over-the-top. It felt like the perfect mix of comfort and boutique luxury. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to Vancouver. Highly recommended!

We had a late arrival, after midnight and the on-site staff was aware and ready for us, very accommodating! We loved the heated floors in the bathroom, that was such an unexpected luxury! The rooms were spacious and perfect for the quick weekend trip. I absolutely loved the breakfast, however the service/food prep was slow (each morning we ere there for one hour) and cut into our time. The food was delicious though and filled us for hours. The location was great, it was easy to walk to the cruise port and with so much in the area to entertain ourselves for the weekend. High recommend!

For 2 friends sharing a room we were able to get 2 x queen beds, plus the room was a little larger than normal hotel rooms. It made for a comfortable stay without having to book a second room. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable although I never seem to get a decent pillow in any hotel. The included breakfast is delicious in the separately run restaurant. Fantastic location if cruising from Vancouver Cruise Terminal as it’s only a 7 minute walk. We stayed before and after our cruise and found it easy to walk to the hotel from the cruise ship. They didn’t have a room available straight away as we were 6 hours early, but as soon as one became available they contacted us to let us know. I would definitely stay again if I’m in Vancouver again.

Great location 4 min walk from Vancouver cruise terminal. Hotel immaculate and staff in the lobby to assist with luggage etc as reception is on a higher floor. Room Deluxe King was perfect Small fridge with fresh milk, kettle and coffee maker all replenished daily. Shower was large and the water was powerful and hot, they provide a hairdryer, bath robes slippers and even a hand held clothes steamer. Everything you needed was at a touch of a button, literally via an ipad. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and the harbour, I felt safe(as a solo traveller) walking to restaurants in the evening. There is a restaurant, but I was out on excursions so didn't go. They did have a 3hr happy hour everyday ... The staff are amazing, so polite and helpful...I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this hotel.. In fact I will be booking again soon.
